This is a right that should also be given to undocumented residents in San Jose, the Bay Area, California and throughout the country.The largest city in America, New York City, already lets them vote. Maryland has done it in several cities, including Takoma Park and Chevy Chase. San Francisco and Chicago allow the undocumented to vote only in school elections.In San Jose, a group of advocates proposed it last year, but after a study session in August, the coalition decided to take a pause from this campaign, and the city council never voted on whether to send the matter to voters. (KRON) -- A woman was injured after she was robbed by two suspects outside of her Piedmont home on Wednesday, according to the Piedmont Police Department.At 4:58 p.m., the woman parked at her home in the area of Rose and Echo Avenues. Two suspects, who were both wearing masks and hoods, approached her car and broke the window in an attempt to grab her purse, PPD said. 2 people shot, Oakland police search for possible barricaded suspect A struggle ensued between the woman and the suspects over the purse, however the suspects eventually gained control of it and fled the scene in a silver BMW towards Piedmont Avenue. RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — Brazilian soccer club Flamengo ended its contract with veteran Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal on Thursday, five months early.Local media report the 36-year-old Vidal will join Athletico Paranaense. DENVER (KDVR) — Wheat Ridge Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left an apartment complex riddled with bullet holes.Just after 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, around 50 rounds were fired into a unit at an apartment complex in the 10400 block of West 44th Avenue. The Miami Marlins took a swing at a problem affecting hundreds of South Florida families.
