SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KSWB) -- Tis' the season of cozy socks and holiday movies, which bids the question -- what's your favorite classic Christmas flick?This may be considered a widely debated topic. From providing nostalgia to helping the more Grinch-like get into the spirit, Christmas films are watched by many ahead of the Dec. 25 holiday. 21-Year-Old Man Killed in Solo-Car Accident Near I-99 InterchangeFRESNO, CA (December 20, 2023) – Sunday morning, a single-vehicle crash along Highway 41 claimed the life of Luis Guinto.The fatal collision happened in the area of Hwy 44/ 99 interchange near downtown Fresno.According to the report, a southbound vehicle made an unsafe turn going left, causing the vehicle to drift into the center median.Subsequently, the vehicle lost control and went down a dirt embankment, before landing onto its roof.Responding emergency personnel declared the male driver dead at the scene. SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KRON) -- Heavy rain was pouring over Santa Cruz during Wednesday morning's rush-hour commute when a deadly crash happened on Highway 1. The California Highway Patrol issued a traffic alert and told drivers to expect delays on Highway 1 near the Morrissey Boulevard exit. As of 9:45 a.m., the far right southbound lane remained closed with no estimated time for reopening. The crash happened around 7:43 a.m. when a driver lost control, their car went up an embankment, and the car flipped, according to the CHP's traffic incident website.
