PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. (AP) — An escaped murderer on the run for more than a week in southeast Pennsylvania has been spotted with what police called “a changed appearance.”Pennsylvania State Police said in a statement on Sunday that Danelo Souza Cavalcante was seen overnight near Phoenixville in northern Chester County. Cavalcante is now clean-shaven and wearing a yellow or green hooded sweatshirt, black baseball cap, green prison pants and white shoes, the statement said. Cavalcante was operating a 2020 White Ford Transit van bearing Pennsylvania registration ZST-8818, police said on X (formerly known as Twitter). A Sunrise home caught on fire Sunday morning, leaving a family of nine homeless. Officials said the fire ignited around 4:30 a.m. in the garage of a house along the 6000 block of Northwest 18th Place. First responders reported that the house was wood-framed which allowed the flames to quickly move through the home to the second floor.Fortunately, everyone in the home evacuated on time. “I mean it’s crazy, I knew this family for a very long time, they don’t deserve this,” said Elvens, a neighbor of the impacted family. “But they don’t really know what the cause of the fire was… Luckily they came out alive and safe.”Firefighters said it was a two-alarm fire with several engines responding which took about four hours to put out the fire. Ingredients: 2 Tsp. oil (grapeseed, olive or sunflower oil)1 8-inch flour tortilla2/3 cup shredded cheese (such as Cheddar, Monterey Jack or Mexican Cheese Blend)Sour cream or salsa for dippingMethod of Preparation: Add oil to a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Let the oil heat up for 20 seconds, swirling the pan around so the oil coats the bottom.Place the tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle the cheese evenly over the top. Once the cheese begins to melt (about 1 minute or less) use a spatula to fold the tortilla in half. Using the spatula, press down firmly on the top of the tortilla until some of the cheese runs out into the pan. Let the quesadilla cook until the cheese that’s leaked out gets crispy and turns brown- about 2 to 3 minutes.Flip the quesadilla over and let cook on the other side for another minute or so.
