Kaitlin Armstrong attempts escape ahead of Texas murder trial, sheriff's office says AUSTIN (KXAN) – Kaitlin Armstrong, the woman accused of killing professional cyclist Moriah “Mo” Wilson in 2022, tried to escape the custody of corrections officers in Travis County, Texas, on Wednesday morning, sources have confirmed to Nexstar's KXAN.Armstrong ran from officers while leaving a medical office building, according to a sheriff’s office spokesperson. After about 10 minutes, officers caught up and restrained her. Officers did not lose sight of Armstrong during the pursuit, according to the spokesperson. Police make arrest in Rensselaer church burglary case ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An arrest has been made following the investigation into the burglary at St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph's Church in June. John W.G. According to police investigations, the suspect forced his way through a side door of the church. A wooden donation box and a wooden prayer candle box were cut open, and an unknown amount of money was stolen.Whiteford was charged with burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, and petit larceny. Three stabbed at Denver homeless shelter in Park Hill A man and two teenagers were stabbed Tuesday night at a northeast Park Hill homeless shelter operating out of a Comfort Inn & Suites, according to the Denver Police Department.Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at 4685 N.
