Woman’s body found at Berkeley Marina BERKELEY — An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death of a woman whose body was found Monday evening in the water at the Berkeley Marina, authorities said.The woman’s name has not yet been released.She was found about 7 p.m. Monday after a caller to police reported a body floating against the rocks in the water near the former HS Lordships Restaurant on Seawall Drive.Firefighters retrieved the body from the water and began life-saving measures. But the woman was pronounced dead there, authorities said.Authorities have not said if there was any trauma to the body or how long they believe the woman had been in the water.  The Alameda County Coroner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.The death is being investigated by Berkeley police.Anyone with information may call police at 510-981-5741 or 510-981-5900.
