TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Mean Max Brew Works had its soft opening at 251 River Street in Troy on July 21. The brewery is now having four days of grand opening celebrations from August 17 to August 20. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! Owner Matt Barry opened Mean Max Brew Works in Glens Falls in 2014. The brewery sells its own beer, as well as wine from Adirondack Winery, spirits from Yankee Distillers, High Peaks Distilling and Springbrook Hollow Distillery, and New York ciders.The brewery offers snacks, but does not have its own kitchen. Barry encourages people to bring food with them from their favorite restaurants. ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. - Drivers will soon see at least three lanes on Interstate 70 across the entire state of Missouri.The new legislation will expand I-70 across the entire state to at least three lanes. Governor Mike Parson introduced the plan earlier this year, and he was in Foristell Monday for the ceremonial signing of House Bill 4.The project will start in Wentzville. The work is expected to ease congestion on the heavily traveled interstate between St. Louis and Kansas City. It's a 200-mile stretch of I-70 that'll start in St. Charles County and go all the way to Blue Springs, which is just outside K-C.The bill Governor Parson signed is a nearly $3 billion plan to expand the stretch of I-70 from two lanes to three. ST. LOUIS – Joy Richter a 1995 Pattonville High School grad and has lived in Hawaii for more than 20 years. Her husband is a Ritenour High School alum and works as a property manager on the islands.On Tuesday, the place they've called home went up in flames, along with the rest of Lahaina, in the deadliest United States wildfire in a century.Joy evacuated her home on Tuesday, along with her 80-year-old father-in-law and her dog. The only escape from the flames was toward the ocean."I couldn't see my own hand,” Joy told FOX 2 in a phone interview. “I prayed to God, ‘Please give me a fresh breath of air.’"As she fought for every breath through the flames, a search and rescue team was able to get to Joy. Adams County Sheriff‘s deputies have tracked down and arrested a man who allegedly shot a deputy overnight after a chase in north metro Denver.The bullet hit the deputy in an area protected by a bullet-proof vest and medics were evaluating his condition.The shooting happened near the intersection of West 74th Avenue and Federal Boulevard. Recording industry insider Clarence Avant, who garnered the nickname of the "Godfather of Black Music," died at his Los Angeles home Sunday night, according to reports. His death was announced by family members and reported by Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.
